The Cross Country Teams will compete at the STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday morning in Round Rock, TX. We will meet at the Kirk Gym at 7:00 AM Friday morning and leave by 9:30 AM after the send off. This a two day trip for the athletes. We will make it back on Saturday at around 4-5PM. 

Tentative Schedule:

• Meet at school 7:00 AM Friday

• Team breakfast at the First Baptist Church (parents in charge) at 7:30 AM

• Start “send off” at the High School at 8:20 AM

• Leave by 9:30 AM after “send off”

• Lunch in Waco

• Go to race course by 1:00 PM

• Check in Hotel: Homewood suites

• Eat Dinner Jason’s deli

• Sleep, lights out 10:00 PM

• Breakfast 7:30 AM at the Hotel then head to race course

• Arrive 8:00 AM, set up camp, Girls Race 9:30 AM and Boys Race at 10:00 AM

• Awards Approx 30 minutes after their race (top 3 teams and top 10 finishers only)

• Head to Lunch (TBD)

• Head home, be back by 4-5PMish
